Moore Aquatic & Fitness Center offering lifeguard and WSI training in March (March 11, 2005)

Moore Aquatic & Fitness Center, 101 Airport Road, is offering training in lifeguarding and water safety instruction during the month of March.

The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course will be offered March 14 - 22 at various evening times. The cost is $100. The program teaches participants principles of administration, learning theory, and course planning.
Lifeguard training will be offered March 28 - April 2 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. each day. The cost is $150.

Lifeguards needing to renew CPR certifications can do so at the CPR recertification session of the lifeguard course to be held on Thursday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $50.
