Annual Water Quality Report


The City of Washington publishes Water Lines, an annual water quality report, to share important information with customers about the quality of drinking water provided by the City. Water Lines meets the requirements of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Articles explain:

  • the source of the City's water
  • test results from laboratory analysis
  • definitions of terms used
  • description of treatment process
  • telephone numbers to call for more information

Water treatment operations are provided by the Water Resources Division of the City's Public Works Department. The City of Washington works hard to provide a safe water supply to customers and will continue to do so.
